Privacy Policy

• I collect only what I need to coach you and bill you.
• Your videos and messages are seen by you and me, and no one else.
• I don't sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools on this site.
• You (or your parent) can ask me to delete your information at any time.

• When you subscribe: the name and email on the order and, when parent approval is needed, the parent or guardian's email address. I do not ask for the pitcher's age. Stripe collects your card details; I never see or store your card number.
• Your portal account: your name, email, and password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form), or your Google account if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Videos you upload of your throwing. These show you, and sometimes other people or places in the background.
• Messages between you and me in the portal.
• Calls: the times you book and your time zone. I don't record our video calls.
• The help form: your name, email, and message.
• Basic technical logs that the servers keep, like IP address and browser type, used to keep the site running and secure.

To coach you: review your video, hold our calls, answer your messages, and send emails about your account, bookings, reminders, and billing. That's all. I don't use your information for advertising, and I don't sell or rent it to anyone.

A pitcher under 18 can request approval using their parent or guardian's email. Before approval, I use that address only to arrange and verify parent consent. The parent provides the pitcher's email during the approval call. A child under 13 cannot pay or use the portal before I verify their parent or guardian's consent by live video call.

For any pitcher under 18, a parent or guardian agrees to the terms, waiver, privacy policy, and refund policy before checkout. The pitcher may then buy coaching and receive their own portal invite. The parent or guardian's email is copied on emails about booked calls and reminders. They can ask me at any time to see what I have about their child, correct it, or delete it.

Video of a minor is treated the same way as all client video: only the pitcher and I can see it, and I never make it public or add it to the clip library without the parent or guardian's permission.

Your uploads and messages are private to you and me. They're stored in a private location, and a video can only be played through a short-lived link given to a signed-in account allowed to see it. Other clients can't see your videos or messages.

The clip library is different: those are my instructional clips, and every client can watch them.

I use a small number of companies to run the coaching. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe for payments, receipts, and cancelling your subscription.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) to store the videos you upload and the clip library.
• Hetzner, which hosts the server and database behind the portal: accounts, messages, bookings, and video records.
• Neon, which hosts the website's database, including a log of billing events from Stripe.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Google for signing in with Google (if you choose to) and for our calls: Google Calendar invitations and Google Meet links, which include your name and email and your parent's email if they're copied.
• Resend to send emails, like your invitation, booking confirmations, reminders, and password resets.

The site uses cookies only to keep you signed in to the portal, and your browser remembers whether you picked the light or dark theme. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. The instructional videos page loads YouTube's player only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain.

I keep your account, videos, and messages while you're a client and between offseasons, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. You (or your parent or guardian) can ask me to delete your account and videos at any time, and I'll honor that request — except for records I'm required to keep, like payment records. Payment records are kept by Stripe, and I keep billing records as long as tax law requires.

You can also delete a video yourself in the portal within 24 hours of uploading it. After that, ask me and I'll delete it.

You can ask me for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@stockyardbaseball.com from the address on your account, or use the help page. Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription on its own; cancel that too, or ask me to.

The site and portal use encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and videos sit in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, but I'll tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

If I change this policy, I'll update the effective date above and email current clients about any change that matters.
